Cleansing & Care

Eye Care Yoga · Sunaina

Eye care practices we offer are a natural way to improve vision related issues which many a times stem from routine patterns of sitting in front of computers, televisions, phones etc.

  • Strengthens the eye muscles
  • Improves eyesight
  • Helps relieve eye strain from prolonged exposure to computers, bringing relaxation to eyes
  • Recommended for those with Myopia and Hypermetropia

The eyes · the one muscle we never rest

Follow the light.

A single point of light moves slowly through the stage in the patterns of the eye exercises: side to side, up and down, along both diagonals, in a wide figure of eight, and in a circle. Between patterns the light goes out for a moment as a rest. The sequence repeats.

Screens hold the eyes at one distance, in one direction, for hours. The eye practices move them the way they were made to move — side to side, up and down, corner to corner, round — and then let them rest, closed, in the dark of the palms. There is nothing here to press. Keep your head still, follow the light with your eyes only, and close them when it goes out.

I have recently learnt the eye care practice from Persis ma'am, it was a great experience, she was very precise and gentle when teaching. Would like to learn more practices in the future and highly recommend it. Hoping to keep up the practice and drop my spectacles soon.

The Sunaina and Bhuta Shuddhi processes were taught to me by Persis. The process was flawless, the venue spacious, parking easy. Very fulfilling overall.
